"What am I supposed to do with these things?". "What just happened?"
Naturally, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to record his "first steps". I was going to try to edit and clean this up so to speak, but I gave up, so here is the unedited version of Fred's first attempt. Please pardon the giggling and shaky camera work...
The ticking noise you hear right at the beginning is Molly making brownies. If you look close, watch his little tail, it's wagging like crazy.

He was really a trooper throughout this ordeal. Soon after the "filming", I took the boots off. I think he probably would have left them on, silly dog. I did end up returning them. It was pretty difficult to get them on and I'm pretty sure Buddy would have given Fred plenty of grief. So I spared him the humiliation, from the cat that is...
"What's so funny?"
Oh, and the snow event? Well, it snowed all night, I guess, and was gone before I got up...Naturally. That's what we call a non event.
That is the cutest and funniest thing ever! I tried boots on my babies, but one of them refused to move. Just stood there. The other walked around kicking his paws. It was a major fail for us!
ReplyDelete@Furry bottoms, Fred is so funny, at first he didn't want to move, he wasn't sure how. Then he just headed out. He loves to be messed with like that.
ReplyDeleteBOL, you have your own Uggs
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Oh you're so lucky that Fred would wear them! Tucker will NOT and he could really use them.
ReplyDeleteWe had our own snow event this weekend. Six inches and gone in 2 days. Meanwhile Steve and I went to the park and ran into a big floppy standard poodle mix with his own boots. He was loving them!
ReplyDeleteMy Tucker wouldn't wear them either! He would more than likely chew them right off! much like anything I put on his body.
ReplyDeleteBut I may or may not have bought him a pair of christmas boots that were on clearance...
Question...Do you notice that Fred's hard to fit into sweaters? Tucker is built like a brick house and I cannot for the life of me find him a sweater that fits him properly because of his broad chest. Poor guy is freezing his butt off at the farm!
OMG! He is the cutest and sweetest thing-EVER!
ReplyDeleteI love his little Uggs :) All the neighbor doggies are gonna be jealous!!!
Hugs to you, Fred,and Buddy!
xo, misha
Lol he is so funny, but probably best that you took them back, he looked to be a very good sport about having them on.
ReplyDeleteRegards
Edward
Well Fred did look pretty dashing in those snow boots. I hope he doesn't miss them too much. Then again I'm sure he was happy to be spared the humiliation from the cat.
ReplyDeleteOMG, that Fred is just too precious. Watching him walk in those booties....hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI have a little award for you at my blog. ;-)
Fred is such a doll!
ReplyDeleteOops, I see someone else left you an award too! Well, there's another on on my blog.
That was hilarius ...sorry Fred but I laughed so hard I almost wet myself. That back left foot in the second video kept setting me off all over again.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that was sooooo cute!!! I laughed until I cried lol. Too awesome! Thanks for sharing the video. I don't blame you for returning them though. They are such a pain to put on lol. Jackal would have chewed them off I think. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha, how cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day Freddy's Mom!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd to Freddy too! Who brings so many smiles to every one he meets!

ReplyDeleteYep, Chrome is so used to me doing such bizarre things around him that a puppy on his back doesn't faze him at all. :)
ReplyDeleteHow's Fred doing? I hope all is well.
