Just a Little Something

Happy New Year!

This has nothing to do with Fred, I just wanted to share something I found while I was looking for a creative way to say thank you for the gifts I received for Christmas via online. It's called Paperless Post. I still think it is always nice to receive  and send a thank you note or just a regular note through the regular mail. Sometimes, I just want to send an quick something to someone and I think this particular site was pretty neat. This site doesn't make you download any "extras" onto your tool bar or anything,. In fact you don't have to download anything at all. For starters, you get 25 free "stamps"  which for me, will last quite some time I also noticed that if you need more "stamps" the pricing is very reasonable. Anyway, I just thought I would pass along. I just sent a card to my sister and it turned out pretty nice. Here is the link if you are interested. Paperless Post

There are ways to "earn" stamps too by inviting friends, or "liking" it on Facebook. I don't think I did that by sharing it here, that wasn't my goal. I just thought it was pretty neat.

  1. Happy New Year to you and Fred!

    Thanks for the neat link.

  2. Good idea. Happy New Year to you and Fred!

  5. Happy New Year to you and Freddy!!

I love the new banner header!!

Thanks for the link - it does sound like a cool idea!

  6. Hey there sweet friend!
Happy New Year's tidings to you and Fred!!
Mary thanks much for your kind and thoughtful words to me and my man. We were on the way to the cat adoption society. I read your nice words out loud, they made me cry..a good cry ;-).
We DID talk about a Boston!! Well, you please come visit.
Love to meet you!! Bring Fred!

That link sounds too cool ..will look into that!

  7. I Luv the new banner too. I'll have to check into this new idea. Even though I keep saying letter writing and paper snail mail is a lost art, I am still interested in things like this. Thanks for sharing.

  8. That puppy picture of Fred in your banner is so cute!!!

In response to your comment on riding Chrome, it is so hard!!! That picture totally shows it all. I just stand next to him and bounce on the balls of my feet thinking, "I wanna ride, I wanna ride, I wanna ride" lol. I just don't want to hurt him so I'll wait for him to grow. :) I think he's definitely going to be ready mentally when it's time. It's so easy to do too much too soon with horses like him because he's so accepting and smart. It's a good practice in patience for me. :)

  9. Hi, just wanted to answer your question here too so you don't miss it. We will ride Faran when he's ready. That's really the best answer I can give. He's getting more comfortable with us just walking around him, but he's still a long way from carrying a rider. He has a lot of baggage to get through before he can trust again, but he'll get there. We have all the time in the world. :D

I love reading comments from my blog! I think the comments make the blog! It gives me the motivation to write more. (or less)
