Fred, A Fashion Show

I know it's been a while since I have posted a Fred ism. Since the season's have changed, our activities really haven't been that blog worthy. Thank you to those who have checked in with with me, it means a lot.

Thank you for all of your comments and ideas that you shared on my last  post. I am happy to report that we have reached an agreement and Fred is now perfectly fine sleeping in his Snoopy bed as long as he is covered up. We have yet to get seriously cold outside, maybe one or two nighst of frost. When it does come, I think we are prepared...
Since my last post, I have managed to pull out the cold weather attire that I have for Fred and I thought I would share a little fashion show of the various articles of clothing that I have for Fred for the crummy weather that is now upon us .
Lounge Wear

The "Snuggie"

"You look ridiculous Fred!"
"C'mon Buddy, we're still friends, right? I feel ridiculous. I can't move my legs!"

Day Wear

I love how the pockets are set all the way up on the the middle of his back, not sure what the deal is.
"Again, limited movement here Mom."
"And...it's ITCHY!"

Outdoor Wear
"I like this one. It's comfortable and I can move my legs."
Last year, we had a pretty decent snow "event" and somehow, Fred managed to lose this one in the snow and I had to wait quite a while for the snow to melt until I could find it. I think the cat ripped it off of him and hid it. It was in a very obscure spot.

Running errands, traveling clothes

Fred is glued to that sunny spot when the sun shines. The only time Fred is not in the same room with me is when the sun shines in the front room. He got very excited when I put this on him. He thought we were going to go somewhere. It was difficult for me to get a decent picture.

I have to say, this one is my favorite coat, I like the red and black combination for Fred. Very outdoorsy. I think he likes it too.

Stylin!
Going for a walk wear

This little set up has made our walks so much more enjoyable. A regular collar just chokes him, even if there is very gentle pulling. This completely eliminates that problem.

And of course, you all remember....

Swimwear!

You can read about this one here

I hope you have enjoyed our little pageant. I know I did.

As for Fred...you be the judge ;-)

  1. Oh my goodness! Too cute! Love the blue outdoor wear, and the life jacket.
Tell Fred my Mickey has a coat that looks just like a miniature horse blanket!

  2. lol! lol! I can't stop laughing. Fred is too stinkin' adorable!!!

    Love the "Itchy" photo. hehe!
The kangaroo pocket is silly. Even if it was under the belly, what do they think? A dog is going to tuck his paws into it as he walks? lol!
I guess you could tuck treats or poop bags into it. lol!

My favorite is also the Travelin' Outfit, too. It looks the best on him and looks very warm and cozy.

The Walking Halter is very cool! Looks comfie, too.

I need to get Dobbie her own water flotation vest, too. She want to go with me out on the kayak and canoe every summer.

I loved this post. So fun!

  5. Tucker & I have been waiting for a Fred update :)

The look on his face in that last pic of Fred in the green & black sweater... omg priceless!!
His blue coat is very similar to Tucker's orange & brown one. hmm, wonder if it still fits him?

And the black & red checked one, that reminds me of the woodsman style coats.

  6. I'm glad to see you and Fred are back!!!

Oh my - Fred is one stylin' fashion plate! ;)

He has such an expressive and adorable face! I love that "itchy!" shot and the "you be the judge" one too!

The blue snuggle looks like a hospital gown with the hard to deal with ties on the back...

Fred really likes working on his tan (and keeping warm!) He's looking good doing so!

    :)

  7. Oh,I just LOVE a good Boston fashion show! My littler Tucker pants needs some sort of sweater or vest because the poor little fellow freezes his butt off on the farm.

  10. I did enjoy the Fred fashion show. In the last picture he doesn't look too thrilled by it though. At least he has lots of styles to pick from depending on what the weather is outside. Great header picture.

  11. I like the plaid. I've never had a pet that needed clothes, but after being smitten by sparsely-feathered game breed chickens at a poultry show this past weekend, my wheels are turning!

  13. Cindy Sue has a Snuggie too...it's warm but catches lots of stuff on it. CS & Fred have similar tastes...except for the swimming thing...CS says NO WAY!
